How can you engage your audience during a phone call?  One client asked this, in response to last week’s Quick Tip request.

  • First, as part of small talk, say something you remember about the person you are talking to. It can be about his or her hobby, a school attended, etc. It shows you remember and care.
  • Then get to the point you want to make ASAP. The sooner the audience knows where it’s going, the more attention they will pay.
  • Have good vocal energy. Project your voice (don’t shout) so you come across with conviction.

Now your call should be more memorable.

How can we help you? Keep communicating. It’s important to all of us
