jack franchetti – founder/ceo + lead trainer

Jack is the ultimate authority in corporate communications. He is the Founding Father of media training and corporate presentation skills training. His extraordinary background as a television director, talk show host and major league baseball announcer has positioned him as an innovator in executive media relations and presentation skills training since the early 1970s.

In 1966, Jack began his announcing career at New York’s WHN Radio. He then expanded his skill set as the Station Manager of WFUV Radio and Director of the St. John’s University Television Department. Looking to broaden his horizons, he helped launch ground breaking media coaching and speech preparation programs at the J. Walter Thompson Company in 1973, and hosted New York’s “Point of View” program on WOR-TV for several years.

Jack was recruited to Shea Stadium as the voice of the New York Mets where he served enthusiastically for 11 years, including the 1986 World Championship season.

He has been honored as a guest lecturer on media and presentation skills at Duke University, Fordham University, and Carnegie-Mellon University. Jack earned his B.S. from Fordham University followed by a Master’s Degree in Speech from Brooklyn College.

Celebrating 44 years in business in 2023, Franchetti Communications is the most established business of its kind in the country. Jack’s messaging programs have played an integral role in defining his clients’ positioning in the marketplace. His media coaching techniques have been championed by corporations and major political candidates, both nationally and internationally.

When not engaged in client situations, Jack is typically found boating around the Long Island Sound or losing money on the golf course.
